Sailing onboard "Merlin" a J24 during the Curacao Regatta 2024 - Race 2. 15-18 knots wind from the south-east, Light choppy seas 1 meter and a 1 knot current from the east. Race course: - Start in Spanish Water - Fuikbay - Directorsbay - Fuikbay - Finnish in Spanish Water. We had good trim and speed. Some points of improvement. Resulted in a 2nd place, 2 seconds behind first. We lost it in the last downwind, sailing into a wind hole and J'tje (guys with the pink spi and shirts) who was nr3 at upwind mark did a good job on last run and managed to pass us in the casino (channel). Too bad the camera battery died so soon.
